  SCI Gateway XML Schemas
  The following XML Schemas are used by SCI Gateway, SCI Outpatients and SCI Discharge. they can downloaded directly from this page.
 
eGPFR Request (SCI Gateway Message Type 3)
The eGPFR Request is sent from the Department of Work & Pensions to GPs asking for clinical information about a claimant’s disabilities.

eGPFR-v1-3.xsd

Version 1.3 of the eGPFR schema, shared between the eGPFR Request and the eGPFR Response schemas. Note that this schema also references the APD-v2-0 common schemas.
General-v2-8.xsd Version 2.8 of the general schema, as used by eGPFR-v1-3.xsd
   
eGPFR Response (SCI Gateway Message Type 4)
The eGPFR Response is the response from the GP sent back to the Department of Work & Pensions in reply to the eGPFR Request message above.

APD-v2-0 Common Schemas

The APD-v2-0 common schemas are used by the eGPFR Request and eGPFR Response message types.

Important note: These schemas are referenced via the APD-v2-0 sub directory by the eGPFR-v1-3.xsd schema, i.e. when downloading these schemas they should be placed in an ‘APD-v2-0’ folder that is in the folder the eGPFR-v1-3.xsd file is in.

Supplementary (SCI Gateway Message Type 5)
A supplementary message would contain additional information in respect of a different message that had previously been sent. A typical use case would be a GP sends a referral and later on sends a supplementary message; with information about the patient’s change of address. The supplementary message in this case contains supplementary or additional information about the earlier referral.

Advice Request (SCI Gateway Message Type 6)
The normal, expected scenario for an advice request is that it would be sent from a GP or similar to a secondary care service, who would then reply with an advice response. However SCI Gateway will not limit who can be configured to send or receive advice requests and responses.
